I have what I want,
Quite beyond my need.
But there’s something missing,
Which isn’t at all greed.
A feeling of passion
At the same time morose,
A longing feeling, which suddenly arose –
In my head and in my heart –
One sudden bleak evening.
When sanity was lost
While misery set in.
The clouds have parted
Showing the lucent full moon.
A growl of fury, escaped my throat –
Coarse and sore, as it already was.
The night has begun,
I said my farewell.

Nice one,
"One sudden bleak evening.
When sanity was lost
While misery set in."
I like this!
thanks :D
i didnt even think when i wrote this
the words just come flowing :)
Me thinks what Sanam needs is human blood , sounds to me like Sanam is a hungry vamp . :P
On a side note , it's a fairly good descritption of emptiness transcending into anger .
I think you might appreciate T.S Eliot's Preludes. He does a very good job describing emptiness and the sordid decedance of everyday life , which is what i think the theme of your poem is. Plus , he is a marvelous job with alliteration . XD
Me apologizes for analyzing , it's a hazard from taking literature . XD
lina, stfu :D
